TARGETTI USA, the new North American operations for the TARGETTI Group, celebrated the opening of their new U.S. operations on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Irvine, California.  TARGETTI Group CEO, Luigi Ferrando, and International Director of Sales, Nicola Bertini along with Duralamp President, Massimo Degara welcomed local lighting designers, architects, engineers, Irvine Company special guests and TARGETTI USA representatives to the Irvine Spectrum Center.

The ceremonial event included special comments and a welcoming address by Mr. Ferrando who spoke of the commitment TARGETTI Group has to the U.S. market and the excitement that he has for to support this market and the people with the new management team from TARGETTI USA. “ As a strong and growing company, TARGETTI Group has significantly improved the performance and versatility of our international offering in the architectural lighting business over the last five years.  We felt that this was an important and opportune time to dedicate a strong and independent sales organization dedicated specifically to serve the US Market.  We are excited to have established a strong management team and innovation pipeline in the U.S. that is led by Ms. Marie Paris and her management team. “

The ceremony was held at “The Clock” at the Irvine Spectrum Center, which is a special location for TARGETTI as it is one of the very first USA installations for the new independent operations team. Special guest, Bob Lisle from The Irvine Company shared with guests the history of the centerpiece of the 50 ft tall and 50’ wide fiscus tree and how the idea of the “Clock” idea came to life.  Lighting Designer, Matt Levesque from First Circle Design, Inc. and programmer Mark Matzkanin provided guests with a special lighting show that showcased the unique features and capabilities of the interactive LED installation.
