The Long Island section of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES) has announced a brand new trade show event that will be debuting on April 18. The new show, called Long Island Control-LED, will be geared specifically to lighting technologies related to LED products and lighting controls.
Long Island Control-LED 2012 will be the largest lighting-only event this year on Long Island specifically devoted to LED product and controls. Over two dozen companies will be prominently displaying their most innovative product and energy saving solutions that:
- Reduce energy consumption
- Reduce operating costs
- Provide labor-saving benefits
- Foster healthy, safe environments
- Enhance the quality of life experiences in the home, at work, and in public spaces
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives such as the attainment of LEED ratings for buildings or reduction of consumption of environmentally hazardous substances
To date, exhibiting companies include Philips Lighting, Hubbell Lighting, Leviton Manufacturing Company, Schneider Electric, Toshiba, Crestron, Sentry Electric, and many others. Show organizers have high expectations that exhibitor space will be closed out well before the show’s opening on April 18th.
In addition to the product exhibits, there will be a featured speaker (to be announced) who will be presenting energy saving strategies in lighting. Seating is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
The venue for Long Island Control LED 2012 will be the main function room at Domenico's of Levittown, located at 3270-A Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown, NY 11756. The exhibit space will be open from 6 PM to 9 PM. The featured speaking presentation will take place in an adjacent function room from 6 PM to 7 PM.
Attendance is free, and advance registration is required. Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages will be complimentary.
