LightShow West has announced the opening of online registration for the trade show and conference at Kentia Hall in the Los Angeles Convention Center, Oct. 21-22, 2015. The event is geared toward architects, lighting designers, engineers, interior designers, lighting specifiers, facility managers, utility companies and energy specialists who seek relevant education and the latest lighting solutions from leading manufacturers.

Attendees will be able to participate in a selection of 30 complimentary seminars led by the industry's top speakers on subjects pertinent to professionals in the fast-changing world of commercial lighting. Of great interest to the California market will be the track of Title 24 seminars, featuring sessions on codes, controls, retrofit and new manufacturing testing requirements. LightShow West is a registered AIA, USGBC, IDCEC, ASLA and NCQLP Education Provider and will offer learning units for all seminars.

New for 2015 will be 16 different deep-dive discussion roundtable sessions that will allow participants to share knowledge with peers about targeted topics in a moderated environment. These sessions have limited seating and will also carry learning units. Seats are available for $25 per person, per session.

More than 200 lighting manufacturers will be on hand in the exhibit hall, showcasing their newest products. Companies that have already committed to the event include: Acuity Brands, Amerlux, Ecosense Lighting, Hubbell Lighting, Focal Point, Juno Lighting, LSI Industries, Lumenpulse, Nora Lighting, Prudential Lighting, USAi Lighting and Philips.

Additionally, the event has a long history of providing ample peer-to-peer networking opportunities, including a complimentary cocktail reception on the show floor at 5 p.m. on Oct. 21.
