LightFair International's Largest Las Vegas Trade Show Floor 99 Percent Sold Out
March 6, 2010

With less than three months until the opening days of the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, LIGHTFAIR International (LFI) is poised for another stellar year with its 2010 trade show floor 99 percent sold out.  Boasting more than 160,000 square feet of exhibit space, the trade show floor is the largest in LFI’s Las Vegas history.

The 2010 show floor will highlight more than 475 exhibiting companies. Of those, more than 50 are first-time exhibitors and nearly 100 are companies headquartered outside of the U.S.  Additionally, there will be six lounges featured and four pavilions showcased: Daylighting Pavilion, Design Pavilion, the expanded Global Light + Design Pavilion and the newest addition, the Building Integration Pavilion.

A crucial component to the show and one of the industry’s foremost topics of interest, the Building Integration Pavilion will spotlight companies with enterprise system technologies used to optimize and form energy-efficient buildings, including these five key exhibitors: Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA), Dial GmbH, Echelon Corporation, Ringdale Activeled and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Net-Zero Commercial Building Initiative.  LFI will celebrate the launch of this addition during an attendee cocktail reception in the new Pavilion on Wednesday, May 12, 4-6 p.m.

These companies, along with the other hundreds of internationally recognized exhibitors, will span the entire show floor at the Las VegasConvention Center.  The consistent expansion of the trade show floor and the overall growth of the show and conference are main factors in LFI’s continued ranking as a Top 200 tradeshow by Tradeshow Week. It’s also among the few trade shows that have reported attendee and exhibitor growth over the past several years. The momentum from the previous record-breaking shows is expected to carry through to the 2010 trade show and conference.

LFI 2010 is scheduled for May 10-14, 2010 at the Las VegasConvention Center. The Daylighting Institute and the LIGHTFAIR Institute take place Monday, May 10 - Tuesday, May 11, 2010 and the Conference seminars occur Wednesday, May 12 - Friday, May 14, in conjunction with the trade show days.
