LaMar Lighting Introduces HBL 1 LED High Bay Luminaire
May 25, 2014

LaMar Lighting Company introduces the first high bay luminaire to its line of LED fixtures. HBL 1 is engineered to deliver high performance and a long-life, cost-effective solution in retail, warehouse, industrial and other high-ceiling spaces.

While designed to accommodate a variety of applications, HBL 1 features a wide beam spread ideal for aisle lighting. The luminaire maintains color consistency from unit to unit within 3-step MacAdam Ellipse, which, together with an 85 color rendering index, makes it especially well-suited for retail environments.

HBL 1 can directly replace 250W and 400W metal-halide high bay solutions, enabling significant energy savings. It is available in two- and four-foot sizes, and the 20” by 24” unit yields 12,600 lumens. LaMar Lighting offers the fixture in 3,000K, 4,000K and 5,000K color options.

Committed to providing superior quality products, LaMar Lighting partners with leading LED manufacturers and uses high-quality components to ensure a long service life and reduced maintenance. HBL 1 is L70 rated at 82,000 hours and features reliable LED engines, well-matched drivers and boards to ensure compatibility, and convection air flow cooling. Customers can select optional motion sensors with either an aisle or 360-degree coverage, providing for increased energy savings.

The LED fixture is manufactured with highly efficient specular reflectors providing 95% reflectivity. Alternatives include White Optics reflectors, with up to 98% reflectivity, as well as a door frame accessory with die-formed clear or high-transmission frosted polycarbonate diffusers.

All LaMar fixtures are UL-listed and are made by members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) union. HBL 1’s DesignLights Consortium® and LED Lighting Facts® certifications are currently pending. The product comes with a five-year warranty for part replacement.
