More respondents to NEMA’s Electroindustry Business Conditions Survey reported conditions improved in July than reported they deteriorated. Consequently, the EBCI for current conditions in North America increased to 54.5 from 50 in each of the last two months. Meanwhile, the EBCI for future North American conditions remained near the top of its historic range, rising modestly to 84.1 in July from 82.5 in June.
