The Lighting Controls Association (LCA), administered by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), has announced the election of a new executive team headed by Gary Meshberg as president.
Meshberg has been working in the lighting and lighting control industry for more than 25 years. Currently, he serves as director of business development for Lightolier Controls (Philips Lighting Controls) and Entertainment Technology. He is a founder and past chair of the Home Lighting Control Alliance, member and education chair for the IESNA North Texas section, and a frequent speaker at industry events such as IES, CEDIA, EX Expo and Lightfair International.
Other officers include A. J. Glaser, president of HUNT Dimming, who was elected to the post of vice president, and Scott Jordan, marketing manager for Square D Lighting Control, a division of Schneider Electric, who was elected to the posts of secretary/treasurer. Ron Runkles of NEMA is the association’s executive director and Craig DiLouie, principal of ZING Communications, Inc., serves as education director.
Lighting Controls Association members include leaders in the manufacture of lighting automation and controllable ballasts: Cooper Controls, DELTA Controls, Encelium Technologies, HUNT Dimming, Leviton Manufacturing, Lightolier Controls, Lightronics, Lutron Electronics, OSRAM Sylvania, Philips Lighting Electronics, Sensor Switch, Square D, Synergy Lighting Controls, Watt Stopper/Legrand, Tridonic and Universal Lighting Technologies.
