Flex Lighting Solutions announces the launch of Essentials Series 4.0, a comprehensive offering of High Bay LED luminaires that provide the best lumen maintenance and highest reliability in the industry. Designed with a best-in-class thermal management, the Essentials Series 4.0 are rated to work at ambient temperatures up to 65°C. With efficacies up to 171LPW, these Linear High Bay LED luminaires are available with lumen outputs ranging from 6,000lm to 73,000lm.

Essentials Series 4.0 comprises three product lines, Performance, Standard and Value. They all share the same design and quality of components, each line is differentiated by an optimized LED configuration to satisfy different needs in terms of efficacy and lumens per dollar, helping the end-user find the right product to fit their TCO goals.

The Flex Lighting Solutions R&D team has developed an exclusive aluminum heatsink with an innovative design minimizing the overall size and weight while improving the heat evacuation from the LEDs. This enables Essentials Series 4.0 to be lighter and smaller than other luminaires, while outperforming them in lumen output and lumen maintenance. Operating at 24/7, the projected lumen maintenance (L70) based on TM-21 at 25C is 309,000hours and 194,000 hours if working at 65C for the Performance Line.

The Essentials Series 4.0 is designed to be user friendly, as one of the easiest luminaires in the market to install in the field. It offers easy access to the wiring compartment, opening without tools and featuring various knockouts to provide a higher flexibility for wiring and upgrading with new sensors or control systems.

Essentials Series 4.0 has rotatable outer modules, an exclusive feature allowing optimization of the light distribution to suit individual application needs. This provides the highest flexibility for lighting designers, installers and end-users. This feature allows them to obtain the best lighting distribution and in some cases, reduce the amount of luminaires needed to cover the same area. The rotation of the two outer modules can be adjusted at any time in the field, featuring detents to accurately select 0, 45, 90 and 135 degrees.
