Engineered Lighting Products’ expands their Metal Halide offerings in the “Hole In The Ceiling” line of fixtures. Once installed, these popular GRG (Glass fiber Reinforced Gypsum) luminaires actually appear to be part of your ceiling and look like a custom formed drywall “light niche” that blend with any interior motif. There is no visible metal or trim in the normal viewing angle and the design provides a 45 degree visual cutoff. The expanded Metal Halide lamp options for these downlights are offered in four sizes, with round or square 4-1/2”, 6”, 8” and 10” apertures. Wattages are respectively 20, 39 and 150 for the sizes. These high color rendering MR-16 and PAR lamps are a wonderful, energy saving alternative to halogen sources.

ELP’s AK, AKTB and AKS Series luminaires are now available with LED options in very high lumen packages. These high performance wall wash fixtures out-perform 50 watt fluorescent lamp units at less wattage. They are available for Gypsum, T-Bar and Surface/Pendent Mount installations. Shallow depth of 3-1/2½ allows wall installation in a standard 2” x 4½ stud wall to wash the ceiling or floor with light. The formed, high purity aluminum reflector provides even, unscalloped illumination with no glare. Indirect optical design shields the LEDs from sight at any viewing angle while yielding a fixture efficacy of 89. The EF200 System is much more than just a recessed linear cove system. The KH III LED Floodlight builds on the Kemlux III Series with a high performance LED floodlight option. LaMar Lighting has just introduced Aurora, a 4.5" wide, 4" deep lighting fixture that is available for recessed installation in either a T bar ceiling or flanged for sheet rock or concealed spline ceilings. The original fixture design places the lens at the face of the fixture. The new (-RL) option regresses the lens 2-1/2” above the face of the luminaire for a 32 degree lens viewing cutoff. It is designed with diffuse parabolic side reflectors that produce a wide uniform spread of light while minimizing brightness. LaMar Lighting has just introduced its new decorative shade luminaire. This surface mounted series features a distinctive trilaminate material lamp shade in an off-white color which measures 18" dia. and 6" high (overall height can be as little as 6.75" and has some adjustment if desired) and an acrylic lower diffuser to close off the lamp compartment providing soft illumination perfect for a variety of applications from corridors to lobbies.
