The new Philips Bodine B50CT emergency ballast is designed to work with linear fluorescent and Type A TLED applications. The B50CT operates one lamp in emergency mode and, depending on the wattage and lamp selected, provides up to 1400 lumens initial emergency light output. It is compatible with 13-55W fluorescent lamps and with 7-16.5W Type A TLED lamps, including the Philips LED T8 InstantFit. This allows users to turn emergency fixtures on and off as they choose, eliminating the excessive power consumption caused by night lights or 'Always ON' fixtures. The IOTA ETS-20-DR offers even greater control capability with “Dual Zone Dimming.” The ETS-20 DR features dimming relay leads that allows the use of two different 0-10V dimming controls. Occupants can now have two zones in a space, such as in a presentation hall, dimmed to their desired levels and, in the event of a power loss, the ETS-20-DR will bypass both dimmer controls to allow the emergency supply to power the designated emergency fixtures in both zones at full output.
