Software Experience Technician

Lighting Analysts is a developer of illumination engineering software programs for architectural lighting professionals. Our products are used by engineers, lighting designers, manufacturers and sales professionals and enjoy an industry standard reputation in North America and internationally.

We are a small Colorado-based company with global impact looking to expand our staff with the following individual.

Software Experience Technician

Do you have at least one year of experience using Autodesk Revit in a professional design environment? Is problem solving in your DNA? If so, we might have a tremendous job opportunity for you in the Denver area! We are looking for a friendly yet professional individual to assist with technical customer support for our Revit add-in software ElumTools™ as well as our other software products.

To be successful you must have the personality to communicate caringly and accurately with engineers; verbally, by email and online. You must possess excellent computer literacy in the Windows environment, command strong verbal and written communication skills and have a thirst for knowledge. Lighting Analysts will train the successful candidate in the principles of illumination engineering as necessary. In this position you will learn to not only use our software, but to understand the lighting principles behind it.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Contact with our global customer-base online, through email and by telephone
  • Troubleshoot client problems and identify appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate closely with development, marketing and sales teams to identify client behaviors
  • Identify, diagnose and describe issues for developer escalation
  • Testing of pre-release software
  • Become an expert and be an evangelist for our products

Working at Lighting Analysts

We believe in life balance. Our hours are a standard business work week: M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM and some flextime is allowed. We provide excellent benefits and competitive compensation commensurate with skills and experience.

Our office is a highly collaborative small team environment where everyone has a voice and a chance to influence important decisions. We encourage you to learn about us at www.lightinganalysts.com and apply with enthusiasm!
